As we’ve traveled all over the Route 66 cyberspace, here’s some of our favorite places and friends we like to visit while we’re going down the Information Highway.

 

Lonewolfman.com - http://www.lonewolfman.com - Our friends down in Colorado City, TX - they host two wonderful Kruse's each year and are just some fun people to hang out with. 

 

Oklahoma Route 66 Association - http://www.oklahomaroute66.com - They have a lot of information about Route 66 and offer a Tour Guide complete with business listings of members of the Association.  Their parttime Administrator is absolutely wonderful to work with as well.  Her name is Marilyn.

 

Texoma Hearse & Hot Rod Society - http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/texomahearseandhotrodsociety/ - This is North Texas and Southern Oklahoma's Home for Hearses, ProCars and Hot Rods.  You don't need to be from either to be a member.

Oklhoma's Home for Hearse Folks.  Located around the Oklahoma City Area with membership from all over Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas and Missouri.

 

J.M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum - 

http://thegunmuseum.com/ - Has the world's largest collections of firearms, but also a lot more.  Museum also has Knives, Steins, Musical Items, Statuary and World War I Items.  Be sure to visit these really friendly folks when you're in Claremore, Oklahoma.

 

Will Roger's Memorial -

http://www.willrogers.com/index3.html - Claremore, OK is the birthplace and home of legendary Will Roger's.  The museum complex holds a vast array of artifacts, memoriabilia and other items from the life and times of this American Folkhero.

 

Coit's Root Beer Drive-In - Okalhoma City, OK

http://www.travelok.com/toEat/foodDetail.asp?id=1+5U+484 - These folks have have been in business in the SAME location since 1954!  Located on Historic Route 66.  They host a variety of Montly Car Shows during the summer and look forward to spending time at this historic place!
